What level of English do my workers or I need to have to attend the course?
All student attending our courses should have a minimum of B2 English reading, speaking, and listening abilities. If you or your workers have limited English comprehension, your company will need to arrange for a translator to be present at the class.

Are there any pre-requisites for taking this course?
Workers must be clean shaven to attend this training and be fit tested. Shaving equipment at the True North Safety office if needed.
How long does the fit test last for? Can it be used for any respirator?
The fit test received during training will be valid for one year. The fit test is only valid for the brand & size of respirator a worker is trained on during the class Multiple types of respirators can be fit tested during the same training session.
Do I need to bring any equipment to the class?
Please bring the respirator you wish to be fit tested on. The respirator must be undamaged. If a worker does not have a respirator, True North Safety has respirators available for sale.
